About YIC

A cabinet of young minds, built for a young nation.

Young India Cabinet (YIC) brings students and young professionals into the rooms where policy is argued and decided. Modelled on India's parliamentary and cabinet system, YIC lets young people step into the roles of ministers, members and leaders — and learn democracy by practising it.

Young India Cabinet was founded with a simple belief: young Indians should not merely observe the process of governance; they should have opportunities to understand, question and practise it.

Conceived as a youth-led institution, YIC seeks to create a structured environment where young people can engage with public policy, parliamentary procedures, leadership and civic innovation.

Through its founding team, national initiatives and a written Constitution, YIC is working towards building a sustained platform for democratic participation and leadership development among India's youth.
